Over 600 bras have been collected by pupils and teachers in schools in the local area as well as St Paul's Church for the Roll out the Barrel Trust.
The charity, which is supported by Rotary International, put out the appeal for bras, as it significantly reduces the chances of rape for women living in refugee camps. The underwear will be given to women and teenagers inside IDP camps in Somalia.
Thank you to all who have supported this appeal put out by SHARES and St Paul's Church, including Sherborne Prep School, Leweston School, Sherborne School and Sherborne Girls. The Bras will be delivered to the charity in the next few days!
