Befrienders in the Sherborne area have been talking to Syrian families about where they might want to go for days out in the summer, following receipt of a grant for outings.
Shares has been given a grant by Healthwatch Dorset to organise some days out over school holidays and weekends. The aim of the Community Investment Fund is to improve the health and well-being of local people, and the idea of the outings is to give the families an opportunity to relax together in a safe environment, whilst getting away from everyday concerns.
